Panasonic Readying New Series 60 Smartphone

The FCC today approved the Panasonic X800, a new GSM smartphone based on the Series 60 platform. The device has similar features to the current X700 model, but in a sleeker, ultra-slim design with an internal antenna. Features include tri-band GSM, Bluetooth, miniSD card slot, camera with flash, dual color displays, speakerphone, and speaker-independent voice dialing.

It's funny, because a month ago, I emailed Panasonic and they said they wouldn't be releasing these in the US. But I guess they are. Yay! 😁
