The FCC today also revealed a new Pocket PC Phone from HTC. Aside from the usual navigation keys, the GENE 100 only features a touch screen for input - there is no slide out keyboard or a numeric keypad. It is a small candybar style phone with quad-band GSM/GPRS (possibly EDGE), Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera and full size SD slot. HTC has produced a number of similar devices, but they have only been offered by European and Asian carriers. It is likely the GENE will not be seen in American stores either.

We are getting it!

T-Mobile is going to carry this phone in late may. Saw it this morning, it's nice, running windows 6.0, so it still had some bugs, but overall a sick phone. Can't wait till may!

What's that stand for? Generic?

We aren't getting it, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Reflection

I love how you can see the hand and the camera reflected of the phones screen on this one. I don't know if thats a good or bad sign.
