The FCC has unveiled a new smartphone coming to AT&T from Chinese manufacturer Amoi. The SMT5700 is an AT&T-branded version of Amoi's 6711 smartphone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard. It is a GSM/EDGE phone running Windows Mobile 5.0 with Bluetooth, as well as a 2 megapixel camera and microSD slot. This model is the first partnership between Amoi and a US carrier. There were hints at 3GSM that other Amoi models will also be coming to AT&T (Cingular). The SMT5700 is also one of the first models seen with AT&T logos, rather than Cingular for the Music Store, Mall and MEdiaNet.

my one concern with this phone is that it is made in china. many people are concerned with Chinese exports ...
