Sprint Gets The Touch

Sprint will begin selling an EV-DO version of the HTC Touch on November 4. This version has the same features as its GSM brother, with a touch-sensitive screen, HTC's TouchFLO interface, microSD slot, stereo Bluetooth and 2 Megapixel camera. The Sprint version will feature access to the carrier's music store, video content and On-Demand application in addition to the Windows Mobile 6 Professional (Pocket PC) applications. It will sell for $250 with a 2 year contract and rebate.

I am sure this phone is GSP compatible, but will Sprint Navigation / TeleNav be available for it? Will there be any similar navagation service that isn't ridiculously expensive for the Touch?

Why such a big difference??
Why do the US version of phones differ so much from the versions in other places like europe and asia. Other versions of the sprint touch(Vogue) have wi-fi and some kind of GPS, even come with 1GB card. with sprint 512 card and no definitive proof of wi-fi or gps... cant we get a phone that has it all... 😲

Service Plan?
Right now i'm on a small family plan and for three phones we pay around 100 bucks. I also have unlimited texts... How much should I expect to add extra to my monthly bill in terms of price and features for the Touch? I would at least want the internet and stay with my unlimited texts...
$15 will get you internet with some sprint TV and radio stations...

I may be wrong, but I believe any data plan qualifies for the rebate, so you are only looking at an extra $15 to $25 bucks a month. Go for it! I can't wait to get mine.

I would have to disagree with you. There are differences between the two phones. For one, you have the capability of looking at full webpages, like the iPhone. Plus this is a multi-touch screen instead of just a single touch like most touch screen ...
