T-Mobile has begun trialling HotSpot @Home Talk Forever Home Phone in Seattle and Dallas. The new service will allow T-Mobile subscribers to plug a standard home phone into their T-Mobile routers and get unlimited U.S. calling for an additional $10 per month. Broadband Internet is required, and subscribers will have to replace their existing routers with a new one from T-Mobile that will prioritize traffic through the router. The new router will cost $50 with a two-year contract. In order to qualify, subscribers need a $40 per month single line or a $50 per month family plan. You will be able to switch your existing land line home number to T-Mobile. The service will include nationwide long distance, call waiting, caller ID, 3-way conferencing, voicemail and call forwarding. T-Mobile has not said when the trial will expand to other markets.

Magic Jack beats this deal in spades!
You can't beat their deal of unlimited phone service in the USA and Canada for only $20 a year. You could buy six magic jack lines and use them for the same annual cost as this T-Mobile stuff.
I bought one and pluged a Panasonie 5.8 Ghx digital phone network into it and have dial tones on three phones all around this place. I get caller Id and all the neat extrea stuff that T-Moblie is offering. The only thing is Magic Jack will not port any exisiting numbers. You get a new number - Period for each magic jack you buy.
Works for me.
