Reports: SK Telecom, Sprint In Technology Talks

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that SK Telecom and Sprint are in talks, but the discussion is a joint venture, and not a merger. The talks include ideas about new handsets and other shared services and technology. If SK Telecom were to make any sort of investment in Sprint, it would be minor, and not an outright acquisition.

hey, one can dream right. Those Korean handsets are so far ahead of anything even remotely available in the US market.

besides att and verizon are so big now and so expensive that eventually people will give sprint a try and hopefully their customer service will improve.
and if peopel can hold out, can you image what sprint could do in 3 years when they can develop a cdma wimax iphone. they would blow att out of the water and sprint doesnt charge more based on internet speed like att.
att is horrible company.
