Sprint Drops Phone-As-Modem Charge to $15
Aug 21, 2008, 1:59 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Sprint has lowered the cost of its phone-as-a-modem service from $50 per month to $15 per month. The cost cut requires that the user have an EVDO-equipped phone that can be connected to a PC, and the user must also subscribe to one of Sprint's other data plans, such as the $30 Pro Pack. The PAM plan has the same limits that Sprint's stand-alone wireless modems have of 5GB of data per month. The change went into effect in June.
