The X1a is earmarked for North America, Latin America and Australia. Exactly which 3G bands will be supported by this model was not made clear, though the original spec sheet for the X1 included the 850MHz, 1700MHz, and 1900MHz bands. The X1i will be sold in other regions. An announcement about its availability is expected by early November.
