Intel Halts UWB Development

Intel recently announced that it is halting internal development of ultra wideband technology. Intel made the decision a month ago to stop its five-year program researching the short-range wireless technology. Intel will use UWB technology from other providers rather than make its own because it determined it could save money by doing so. The move clouds UWB's future.
