The New York Times is reporting that President-Elect Barack Obama is set to nominate Julius Genachowski to be the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission. Genachowski was a fund-raiser for Obama during his presidential campaign, and also contributed to Obama's online strategy. The two men went to law school together, and played basketball against one another. If nominated, Genachowski would have to be approved by Congress. Whoever fills the chair will have a hand in shaping the future of wired and wireless communications.
So Much For Change....
Seems like politics as usual. The article mentions not a single qualification for the office other than he was a classmate who played basketball with Obama and gave a lot of money to his campaign. I wonder if his previous job was running horse shows.
the us has been safe from attacks since 911....everybody wanted some change.... careful what you wish for!everybody made a vote based on it being a half black man and everybody will see how dumb that was trust me.

Hmmm; I'm now recalling a quote from good old Duke, who once said, “Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.â€Â
A Lawyer running our communications?
I can see it now. Everytime you make a call, you will be charged 150 dollars and a retainer fee!
