Today Samsung announced the newest phone in its style collection, the S8300 UltraTOUCH. This slider phone features a 12-key keypad and a full AMOLED touch display for interacting with the phone. The display measures 2.8 inches and is scratch resistant. The S8300 carries an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, autofocus, Smile Shot, geo-tagging and video capture at 30 frames per second. It includes GPS, HSDPA 7.2Mbps, FM radio with RDS, stereo Bluetooth, and a microSD slot supporting 16GB cards. The UltraTOUCH runs what Samsung calls an "upgraded" version of its TouchWiz user interface, though it didn't explicitly spell out what the upgrades are. Pricing and availability were not announced.

If it had 850/1900 bands

I would definetly consider this feature packed handset if Samsung were thoughtful enough to give it 850/1900mhz HSPA! I guess theres hope, they did finally put the Innov8 out with 850/1900.

TouchWiz is so cool! I don't think I saw any mention of a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Well the color scheme is that of T-Mobile, but...

They are already getting the Memoir. Plus this phone doesn't have AWS.... so....
