HTC CEO Peter Chou said that the Taiwan-based maker of mobile devices plans to launch at least three more phones based on Google's Android platform during 2009. The Wall Street Journal reports that HTC exceeded its goal of 1 million G1s sold, and one of the new devices will be the "second generation" of the G1. Chou didn't provide a timeframe for when the phones would become available, though the Magic is set to debut on Vodafone's network in the second quarter.
