Following up Monday's news about new features for Windows Mobile, Microsoft clarified that its new Themes feature will only work with Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional. The new app Marketplace will require version 6.5, but will support both Standard and Professional editions. The new Facebook app will be available soon for Windows Mobile 6.1, both Standard and Professional editions.

Oh awesome, I can just ignore the platform altogether then....

Seriously, why is there a tiered version of WinMo? It's like choosing between crappy and crappier. Why not at least do an about face and make all versions of WinMo as usable as possible so that the people stuck using it at least can feel better about using one of the worst OS's in existence?

Then again, if you're STILL using WinMo.....
Professional is touchscreen. Standard is not.

Not exactly tiered.

I can think of a couple os's that are worse then winmo by far.... and ps it not tiered, one is for touchscreen and one is for non touch.
