Apple recently released iPhone OS 3.1 beta 2 and iPhone OS 3.1 SDK beta 2 to developers. According to developers who've downloaded the software, new features include a new triple-tap feature for the home button that will launch the Voice Over application, or change the phone's theme from white to black. The Voice Over application now also has a practice mode to help users learn to control it. Last, developers can now control the iPhone over Wi-Fi rather than through a USB tether. Developers use these betas to make sure their applications are compatible with future releases of the iPhone OS.

Theme from white to black....

"...or change the phone's theme from white to black"

Ummmm, doesnt 3.0 already do this, mine does.

Settings>General>Accessibility>White on Black on or off.

Maybe its something different..
based on the article..u just press the home button and that would change the theme..so its going to be easier..
