Doubts Raised Over Validity of Zer01's Business Model

A new investigative report by IDG News Service casts doubts on the progress of mobile virtual network enabler Zer01 launching service, on the viability of its technology and business model, and on the ethics and backgrounds of its executives. Zer01 Mobile initially announced plans to offer unlimited national wireless voice and data service for $70, using the networks of unidentified GSM carrier partners. Now they are partnered with a company called Global Verge, marketing the service under the Buzzirk brand. AT&T and T-Mobile both deny working with Zer01, and no other carriers would offer the national GSM footprint Zer01 is claiming. Zer01 claims patent-pending technology called Veritable Mobile Convergence enables the relatively cheap unlimited service, but IDG could find no records of any such patents. IDG also reports that some of the executives of Zer01 have criminal records and ties to pyramid schemes. Zer01's only confirmed business activity to date has been to sign up sales reps (they claim to have 50,000) and charge them fees. Zer01 missed its own July 1 launch date, and has only told sales reps that phones to sell will be available "in weeks." Wireless industry analyst Jack Gold, of J. Gold Associates, says the technology and business plan just don't make sense.

NOT TRUE
1. Since we started drinking Zer01 in April 2008, my husband has not had a single migraine (Imitrex) shot. Prior to Zer01, he was using one shot per week. (One shot per week and now no shot in FIVE MONTHS!!!) My mother-in-law was taking her migraine tablets twice per week before Zer01 but now is at about once per month. No other things changed in order to effect this–no new meds added, no move to an awesome tropical beach, etc., etc. So, these wonderful results just happened to occur after these two people starting drinking the acai berry complex, Zer01.
