Today Apple provided its answers to the FCC over the removal of the Google Voice application from the iPhone Apps Store. Apple notes, "Apple alone makes the final decisions to approve or not approve iPhone applications." Apple also said that the application wasn't removed, rather, it was pulled back into the approval process so Apple could study the application further to see how it is interacting with the native telephony features of the iPhone.
