Today Intel revealed Moblin (mobile Linux) version 2.1. This release can work with Atom-based mobile phones. Compared to previous releases, Moblin 2.1 has been redesigned to work on mobile handheld devices, and features on-screen panels for navigating through applications as well as support for social networking via widgets. Intel hasn't said when this version of Moblin will ship, nor did it name any devices that might use it.
