Samsung senior vice president Don Joo Lee recently said that moving forward the company plans to limit its platform support to Android, Windows Mobile, and its own new Bada operating system. It will no longer develop and sell handsets based on the Symbian platform. Samsung will continue to work on high definition displays for phones, as well as higher performance processors and incorporate Long Term Evolution capabilities into its handset lineup.
