RIM Adding 'Concierge' Service to BlackBerry

Today Research In Motion talked about a new feature it is bringing to the BlackBerry platform called Concierge. The service will let users monitor the applications that are running and/or installed on their BlackBerries. For example, users will be able to see a dashboard that shows what eBay purchases they've made, what music they've listened to, and people to whom they've sent tweets. The service will be integrated into the platform and must be supported by wireless network operators. It will be based on the use of widgets that access the web and deliver snippets of user data. RIM also noted that carrier billing support is on the way for BlackBerry Apps World.
