Today Sprint informed owners of the HTC Hero that they can now upgrade their devices to Android 2.1. Aside from all the new features found in Android 2.1, the update also includes the newest version of HTC's Sense user interface, better corporate email support and a number of bug fixes. Sprint is not offering the update over the air. Instead, uses need to download the new version of Android to a Windows PC and install the new software via HTC's Sync software or a microSD card.

IMusic
😕 Since I did the update I've tried looking for IMusic to download all my favorite songs but it's not in the market anymore. Any ideas on what to do?
Software not posted
I went to the download site and the software is not posted. Is this a super secret release where you have to dig for it?
It's on the HTC site but its slow as hell lol

Oops...
Flashed my wife's Hero over to 2.1 just yesterday using the leak provided on a developer's forum. It runs slower than it did on 1.5. Wonder if I should've waited until the official release...?
I flashed my Hero using the exact same ROM. I'm really not sure what's causing her phone to run so slow.
I manually upgraded my eris to 2.1 with a link to googles website off of phandroid and now my eris runs like crap. Does anyone have any idea why?
Any different than the leak?
I just did the leaked update yesterday for 3 of my co-workers. Should I even bother with the official update that came out today?
Doesnt seem to be. It's the same release and firmware...
