A small company called i wireless has announced that it is selling the Google Nexus One Android phone at its 250 locations in Iowa, western Illinois, and eastern Nebraska. i wireless is a T-Mobile affiliate, and is offering the Nexus One for $300 after rebate with a new contract. i wireless noted that is also selling other Android handsets, including the Motorola Milestone, HTC Hero, and Samsung Behold II. The Nexus One is still available via Google's online store for $180 on contract.

Hmmm

I think they might be disappointed when people go in there to test it out, then go home and order it from Google.
Google closed their online store.

This is hardly new, Union Wireless has been selling this device for 3 weeks now in Wyoming/Colorado/Utah.

They can't. This article is wrong and mis-leading as well.

Your Article is WRONG!

Why can't news/media outlets ever do research? I know you guys are just re-posting someone elses article, but it is WRONG!

I Wireless has had the Nexus One at select retail locations since early April. As well, I Wireless doesn't sell T-Mobile, I Wireless is its own carrier separate from T-Mobile. They have a network partnership, and non-comp agreement with T-Mobile, much like MANY other local owned and operated T-Mobile affiliates in the US.

What is hilarious, it SAYS this at the bottom of the press release that is being quoted, and if you CHECKED their web site, as I did, it is easy to see this.

We are the tech media, and we don't care about doing our job.
Who's reposting?

According to i wireless, "Customers will be able to purchase Android devices, including models that are 3G capable, at over 250 retail locations or at the i wireless website beginning May 18, 2010." Nothing published by i wireless...

Cool

This is progress. Google's top phones should be available to the public in more places. They are really good and only getting stronger.

Either Google tread softly before or they need to definately market these phones.

Its all about looks and apps. The nexus one has both. I've also been on many phone calls where the noise reduction was great, blocking ALL wind noise and radio noise. Highly recommended.

If I had the money and didn't carry what I sold I'd have this on at&t in a heartbeat. But unfortunately at&t doesn't like anything other than its halo-iphone, so the dell/htc/motorola/other android phones will always be crippled.
So...how much Google stock do you own?

Wait a second...

This authorized agent is selling the Motorola Milestone and the headline is only about the N1. Are you serious?
