Sprint Pushing Android 2.2 Froyo to Samsung Intercept

Sprint today announced via its support forums that owners of the Samsung Intercept can expect to see the Android 2.2 Froyo update delivered to their handset in the coming days. Android 2.2 Froyo includes a number of new features for the Intercept.

one issue we have been having all day customers are comming in because after the process of the update the phone will want to restart and then it gets stuck on "Samsung" you can do a "RTN" formally known as a full wipe on the phone but even though you can wipe using the short keys the device will be DONE, as in fried! i would recomend taking the device to a service center to have the phone updated. π
