add gps location data to your pictures
the mm7500 (and the mm9000) can add gps data to the exif file when you take a picture. these are the first phones in the US with this capability. cdma phones in japan have been doing this for years and they have some really neat photo services over there that let you organize your photos by where you took them.
on the mm7500 this option is turned off by default. here's how to turn it on:
1. from the main menu, select "pictures". do NOT use the camera button shortcut
2. scroll down and select "settings & info"
3. select "location"
4. you'll notice it's set to off. set to "on" by pressing the select key while on is highlighted.
5. you're done!
now all the pictures you take will have a gps tag in the exif data.

This is very interesting and a little mysterious since Sanyo doesn't mention ths capability in their online descriptions of the mm7500 and mm9000 phones. Have you confirmed this capability and, importantly, do you have any idea how the GPS sensitivity/accuracy of these phone might compare with a dedicated handheld device like a Garmin eTrex?
Thanks for finding this!

I checked the accuracy with my handheld GPS unit. The data was not 100%, but very very close.
