I Hate this phone
At first, I loved this phone but the phone went downhill after that. This is the 2nd phone that I went through in less than a year. My boyfriend went through the exact same problem as me. And the thing is, I don't even use my phone that much
PROS
*Color-Pink
*Slim
CONS
*Battery life went downhill after 1 month
*Key pads wore off very very fast
*Front screen hard to see in the daylight when outside
*Hissing noise through speaker
*Speaker phone bust very easy
*Crappy ring tones
*Not enough space for voice mails
I Do not suggest anyone to get this phone, but that is my own opinion.
My next phone, Palm Treo 680!!!

not so impressed
Understandably this is the first version of the phone...which comes with bugs. Yet I become increasingly upset with the phone as I use it.
Pros:
speaker phone with flip closed
easy bluetooth navigation/use
downloads easily
can change menus
Cons: (big list unfortunately)
battery life decreases exponentially with use over time. one year with this phone and you have to charge it every 12 hours.
camera and menus slow to a stop sometimes and the lag causes poor pictures.
only stores around 100 texts and then wont allow more.
sometimes phone refuses to work...texts being sent to and from the phone will just cease and only turning on and off the phone will reactivate this.
if you try to use features in quick succession or send multiple texts the phone will turn off and reset itself. BIG problem.
calls will be dropped for the same problem...phone just turns off mid-convo.
no voice recognition and the recordings cannot be set as ringtones.
LATEST problem!! -phone refuses to accept the charger and stopped charging. this, according to the cingular guy, is a problem with a port and can only be fixed by getting a new phone.
after a new phone...email me with suggestions.

NOT A GOOD PHONE!!!
Yeah this phone pretty much sucks! Veryy fragile drop it once and you're a goner. I would get the Sidekick 3.
Pros
Sleek style
Bluetooth
Camera/Videogood quality)
Cons
Flip it too fast and it will mess up
Drop it, it cracks in half
Statics when you call
Need force to press the buttons
Yeah I wouldn't get this phone. Get the sidekick 3. It is 100% better.

Motorola is Whack!
I have had my Magenta Razr for about a year now and this is probably the worst phone I have ever owned. The screen freezes constantly, I hate that you can't save multiple phone numbers under one name.(that is with all Motorola phones), my phone would "reboot" itself...just a bunch silly things that shouldn't be. I paid a lot of money for the phone. The only thing that I love about the phone is the color...thats it. Don't waste your money on this phone. The Razr is so overrated.

Average
This phone is an average phone. It has the basic features. Overall this phone is average. It is not the best phone I have owned nor the worst.
Pros:
Nice thin phone
Stylish keypad
"ok battery"
alarm
calander
video recorder
camera
audio recorder
Cons:
Wide phone
bad bluetooth connection

Why Do People Keep Buying This Phone?
Look, I've been to a picnic, a rodeo, and world fair, and this is the worst phone I have ever seen. I use to work for a T-Mobile dealer, and when this phone first came out, I convinced some guy to trade in his Cingular RAZR for our CF62T. I felt bad at the time, but in retrospect, I'd rather have a CF62T than this hunk of junk. I work for a Cingular dealer now, and I hear nothing but complaints and problems all day about the RAZR, and yet, people still want to buy them. We sell the RAZR for $149, and people still mindlessly line up to buy one at this ridiculous price. The list of problems with this phone is endless, but the most popular complaint is fuzzy or no reception. A close second is the phone all together freezing up, and in third is that annoying message unable to locate Sim card. A word of warning to anyone considering to upgrade to or purchase this phone, avoid it like the Bubonic Plague!

I love my RAZR V3!
My daughter and I just recently received the RAZR V3 as a warranty replacement for our Siemens S66 phones. The S66 was possessed and would power off for now reason. When I called Cingular, I asked if there were any other phones that could be substituted for the S66. They said only if we downgraded our phones and that the original RAZR V3 would be an option. I told them to please "downgrade" us to a RAZR. We just got them this week, but love them. We have great signal (Cingular in Kentucky), my Bluetooth works great, the picture quality is awesome, especially considering this camera is VGA instead of megapixel. We love the slim design, great for putting in your jeans pocket, front or back. The only thing we have found that we aren't fond of is the placement of the side buttons on the top half of the flip instead of the bottom, but we will get used to that.
To summarize:
PROS:
*great style,
*great signal,
*small size,
*clear reception,
*clear pictures, but I don't buy a phone based on the camera (I have a NICE digital camera),
*extremely user friendly,
*can enter multiple numbers for one contact, but must be saved on the phone instead of the SIM.
CONS:
*side buttons on top half instead of the bottom (no big deal).
*can enter multiple numbers for one contact, but must be saved on the phone instead of the SIM.
I listed the multiple numbers comment as both a pro and con because if you have a lot of contacts with multiple entries and you have them saved on your phone instead of your SIM and you need to replace your phone you are either out of luck because they are all stuck in a faulty phone, or spending a lot of time saving all of them back to your SIM.
I hope to have my RAZR for a long time! I would definitely recommend this phone to anybody.

LOVED MY HOT PINK PHONE BUT.....
My V3 is the worst phone I have ever had! In 5 months I had 5 replacement phones. Some were just a week or two apart. For two weeks I stopped using it just because everyone who called said I sounded as if I was in a hole.Even I thought perhaps I was listening to my music to loud in the past and was thinking about getting my hearing checked! ha ha .The first problem was that it wouldn't scroll for me to download songs on and then it went so fast .After that, the past 4 sounded like I was in a hole and it made no difference if it was a landline or the same carrier.WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME AN HOUR AND A HALF TALKIN ABOUT THIS TO CINGULAR EACHTIME IT HAPPENED5 TIMES!!!!Thats 7 1/2 hrs.......THOUGH IT IS A HOT COLOR THINK TWICE b 4 U GET IT.IF YOU STILL DO get it, get insurance and wear a dunce hat on your head. ha ha just kidding but you shouldn't waste you hard earned money on this phone and EVEN IF ITS ANOTHER COLOR AS MY SON HAS THE BLACK he did not get the insurance and has been using our old lg .As he can't afford another phone at this time (19 yrs)Good Luck!!!

Very nice phone
I have just gotten the motorola razr v3m last weekend...
Now i know its very fragile, so i went ahead and put insurance on the phone. But the phone has extremely good reception.. I havent had a dropped call, I always have service.. For a Motorola, this is an extremely good phone. [worth every cent]
Some people say they had to replace it eight times in one month... like the person beneath me.. but!, why would someone keep replacing the same phone if it sucked that much? So obviously... that person broke one, and didn't like it so they wrote a bad report..
Now i am encouraging you to buy the razr.. But make sure you buy a v3m.. the newer and better model of the razr.. But if you do buy one, make sure to buy the insurance.. and for anyone that doesnt take very good care of their phones... The razr is NOT for you.
Con(s)-
very fragile
pro(s)-
Everything else..
My review was based on a VERIZON silver razr, v3m.
