Nokia Announces More New Phones

Nokia today announced five new phones at CTIA Wireless 2002 in Orlando:

3590: Dual-band GSM 850/1900, GPRS, J2ME, MMS, polyphonic MIDI ringtones, custom faceplates, voice dialing, xHTML support, digital TTY. Available 3rd quarter 2002.
6590: Dual-band GSM 850/1900, GPRS, Java, MMS, infrared, voice dialing, FM radio, digital TTY, xHTML support. Available 2nd quarter 2002.
6370: PCS-only CDMA2000 1x (voice), PIM functions, voice dialing, infrared, USB, digital TTY, Wireless Internet. Available 2nd Quarter 2002.
6385: Tri-mode CDMA2000 1x (voice and data), PIM functions, voice dialing, infrared, USB, digital TTY, Wireless Internet. Available 2nd half 2002.
3585: Tri-mode CDMA2000 1x (voice and data), custom faceplates, J2ME, MIDI ringtones, Pop-Port™ connector, voice dialing, R-UIM (SIM) support, xHTML browser, digital TTY. Available 2nd half 2002.

Apple has revealed its 2nd-generation AirPods Pro, now with ANC (active noise cancellation) that can cancel 2x the noise. It has has a revamped transparency mode called Adaptive Transparency, which samples outside sound 48,000 times per second so it can react quickly to dampen sudden loud noises.

Android and Google Devices Now Support Matter

Google has updated its Google Home app and Google Home / Nest devices to fully support Matter, the new industry standard for smart home control. Existing Google home hardware can serve as a Matter hub, including the original Google Home speaker, Google Home Mini, Nest Mini, Nest Audio, Nest Hub (1st and 2nd gen), Nest Hub Max, and Nest Wifi Pro.
