Bitfone Releases Over-The-Air Firmware Update Solution

Bitfone Corporation today announced the availability of its flagship mProve™ product. mProve 2.0 is the first commercially available product for updating a phone's entire firmware over-the-air. Without mProve, manufacturers and carriers must rely on physical access to update the phone's embedded operating system. mProve 2.0 is an end-to-end solution that includes network components and the mProve Agent in the phone. Using a patent-pending method, mProve is able to provide fault-tolerance to protect firmware integrity in case of battery removal or signal loss.
