Siemens Brings Latest Phones To U.S.

Siemens today announced two new GSM/GPRS phones for the U.S. market. Both are dual-band GSM 850/1900, but are otherwise similar to phones announced last week for Europe.

SL56: Sliding design, 4096-color display, MMS, GSM 850/1900. Available Q3 2003
M56: Features color display, Java, speakerphone, Cubasis® ringtone composer, voice dialing, and optional camera attachment.

Siemens also announced that its recently-announced SX1 will be available in the U.S. in the 3rd quarter, and that AT&T Wireless will carry the Siemens C56 this month, and the S56 next quarter.
