Sprint Announces 2nd Wireless Imaging Deal

Sprint PCS yesterday announced an agreement with ActivePhoto to support future wireless imaging services over Sprint's upcoming 3G network. At launch, the new service will be designed to allow business customers to take pictures, label them with the necessary voice or text data, and immediately send the information, via the Sprint 3G Network, to a Sprint web site hosted by ActivePhoto. The Web site will be equipped with enhanced administrative tools enabling customers to organize, manage, view, share, archive and report on their images, data and voice files.
