Samsung Unveils New Phones

Samsung today introduced several new phones for various markets. Included in the selection were two GSM world phones, and two CDMA 1x phones:

SGH-S100: tri-band folder-type GSM phone with 65,000-color display, external display, Java, EMS, and polyphonic ringtones.
SGH-V100: tri-band folder-type GSM phone with streaming MP3 audio and MPEG-4 video, 65,000-color display, external display, EMS, and polyphonic ringtones.
SPH-i330: tri-mode CDMA 3G 1x smartphone with 256 color touch-screen, GPS location, and polyphonic ringtones.
SCH-X590: 800 MHz CDMA 3G 1x folder-type phone with 4096-color display, external display, built-in camera supporting video mail, and polyphonic ringtones. (May only be available in Korea.)

Apple has revealed the iPhone 15 series, which moves to a USB-C connector and brings several key features from last year's Pro models to the more-affordable standard models. These include the pill-shaped sensor cutout in the display that Apple calls Dynamic Island, a brighter display that can reach 2000 nits, a 48 megapixel main camera, and the A16 Bionic processor chip.
