AT&T Delivers Ice Cream Sandwich to HTC Vivid

AT&T has begun distributing Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the HTC Vivid smartphone. In addition to the new system software, the update also adds Sense 3.6, Beats Audio, and more Bluetooth profile support. Instructions for downloading the update are available on HTC's support site (link below). The update must be downloaded over Wi-Fi, and not AT&T's cellular network.

I swear, ATT are such woosies!!!

Android software updates are suppose to be OTA. 700mhz LTE is PLENTY capable of handling the 150mb or whatever the file size is. I am so glad I left ATT 2yrs ago.

I was thinking sort of the same, but even Samsung is not doing ota's for the SGS2 International version, has to be done via Kies. (really nasty program too) All in all either way its not a big deal, at least the VIvid IS getting ICS faste...

Is this really worth complaining about? Almost any public place offers free wifi....
ONLY 150 MB? Sure...use up your entire monthly data allotment in 5 minutes with 1 download....
