Verizon Launches Kyocera KX2

Verizon Wireless today began selling the Kyocera KX2 (Koi). The KX2 is Kyocera's first camera phone. Sporting a swivel design, the KX2 includes a 1.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, video capture, and a lens cover. A large display, BREW, and speakerphone are also included. The KX2 has been available in Argentina since September.
First Impressions
This phone was on display in a Verizon store on Monday of this week. I had a chance to play with it a bit. My early impression is that is feels very 'plasticy', is very light and feels like the top 1/2 will come flying off at some point if you are not gentle with the phone. It did not have a $150 feel to it. Quite honest, that alone discouraged me from being interested in its features.
I work for Cingular, but $150 is not bad for a phone with these features, but, once again, you can get a different impression by feeling and playing with the phone. The way a phone is built will tell you a lot about it. I've never liked "plastic" fe...

I'm sure the price will come down soon. Kyocera isn't known for high-end phones (with the exception of the 7135). My question is how long this phone will be on the shelf before Kyocera issues another battery recall....
Its definately cool phone, i dont know if takes good pictures because I haven't uploaded any to my computer--this is the best way to tell if takes good pictures or not otherwise all you are testing is the display resolution. For example, I have vox 89...
