HTC today announced the One X+, a major update to the hardware and software of the One X. The One X+ looks the same as the One X with a polycarbonate shell, but has dramatically different internal components.

HTC recently posted more information about which devices will and won't receive Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates. Devices released in 2012 have the priority for 4.1 updates, but HTC will evaluate some 2011 devices as well.

Alaska Communications has launched LTE 4G service in a handful of markets in Alaska. The markets covered include Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau.
