Verizon Wireless today announced viewdini, what the company is describing as a portal that makes it simple to search and view movies, television shows, and other video on mobile devices. Using viewdini and Verizon's LTE 4G network, customers can access the content available from sources such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, mSpot, TV sites, movie studios, Comcast's Xfinity TV, Verizon FiOS, and cable operators. Users will be able to search for anything — a show title, subject, actor/actress — and the application will tell the user which video service offers the content associated with the search, whether or not it is free to watch or costs money, and supply the user with related information. Viewdini launches later this month on Verizon's LTE 4G Android devices. Other platforms will be supported in time. It is free to download and use viewdini.
