Verizon Wireless today announced that customers wishing to preorder the Samsung Galaxy S III will be able to do so starting at 7AM on June 6. Verizon will offer both the marble white and pebble blue versions, with either 16GB or 32GB of storage for $199 and $249, respectively. The device will be available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online in the coming weeks.
What about the unlimited data plan?
Although the article talks about preordering the Galaxy S III, it makes no mention of having to forego your unlimited data plan. If you recall a couple of weeks ago Verizon stated that going forward they would discontinue offering the unlimited data plan to those upgrading their smartphones unless you agreed to pay the unsubsidized price for the phones. If I preorder the phoen for $199 on Verizon, do I have to give up my unlimited data plan?
$199
I love that Verizon was forced to stop their $299 bull$hit. As bad as AT&T is, even they weren't pulling such crap. I mean really.
Who force them to stop the $299? I have not seen nor have heard anything about this.
