AT&T's LTE Footprint Expands to a Handful of Markets

AT&T today revealed that its LTE 4G network is now available in a number of new markets. The new markets include Gainesville, Ga.; Wichita, Kan.; Burlington, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem, N.C.; Buffalo, N.Y.; and Corpus Christi, Texas. AT&T also expanded the reach of its LTE 4G network in Charlotte, N.C., and Cleveland, Ohio. AT&T's LTE network is now available in 47 markets, though AT&T isn't specifying the number of POPs currently covered with LTE.

Of all the cities in Florida

I can say, as a Florida resident, Gainesville is the oddest choice. All that's there is UF. Miami, Jacksonville, even Tallahassee (hicktown as it is) would be bigger and better choices...
Actually, it's Gainesville, GA, not Gainesville, FL. AT&T got the press release wrong. We've updated our news story to reflect the correct city...
