Sprint Names Three More LTE Markets

Sprint today said that Gainesville, Ga., Manhattan and Junction City, Kan., and Sherman-Denison, Texas, will all have access to LTE 4G along with Baltimore before Labor Day. Sprint didn't provide an exact launch date.

Sprint picks the worst locations.

Why is Sprint choosing the least populated areas to be putting 4G in.. Major cities like New York, Tampa, San Francisco - are the ones that need LTE first, not Kansas, not small towns in Georgia.. What is Sprint thinking... I know they are based in Kansas, but nobody else lives there...
It's a new network that needs to be tested out, they need to make sure the towers are working properly and can handle traffic before they turn on the network in the highest populated markets.

Manhattan hosts one of Kansas' largest universities and sees a lot of flow, despite being a small city. As someone who lives here and is fed up with Verizon's price gouging, I'm excited to see it.
