(updated) Nokia today unveiled three new handsets at 3GSM World Congress:
- 6682 / 6681: Nokia's smallest Series 60 smartphone yet, measures 108.4 x 55.2 x 20.5 mm. Features a bright 262k color screen and a 1.3 megapixel camera with LED flash and active slide cover. Includes an MMC slot and Push To Talk functionality. The 6682 is a tri-band 850/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS EDGE model for the Americas, while the 6681 is a 900/1800/1900 version of the same phone. Both should be available in the second quarter.
- 6680: A 3G phone based on the same design as the 6682, it's a WCDMA plus 900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS EDGE smartphone. Instead of Push To Talk, it features a second VGA camera facing the user for video calls. It is expected in March.
- 6101: A clamshell model featuring Nokia's new Xpress audio messaging and Push To Talk, dual displays and a VGA camera. The 6101 is also Nokia's first phone to be offered in carrier-exclusive design variants, starting with the 6102 for China Mobile. Two tri-band versions, a 850/1800/1900 version for the Americas and a 900/1800/1900 version are expected in the second quarter.
