Google Maps Can Now Route to 1 Million Transport Stations

Google today provided a new update to Google Maps for the Android platform. The newest version of the software makes strides in fleshing out public transportation details and information. Google Maps for Android can now provide scheduling and departure time information for more than 500 transportation hubs, such as those for buses, trains, and subway systems, totalling more than 1 million stations. The new software will also allow users to plan routes that include or excluse specific modes of transportation. The update is expcted to arrive in the Google Play Store later today.
