Samsung Announces a Slew Of Phones

Samsung announced at least eight new handsets, many of which are updates to previously launched, or announced, models. All models are GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900, and have SGH- names. Pictured:
- D720: A Series 60 smartphone with a slider-style body, slimmer and more elegant than the announced but not released D710 slider. Features a 1 MP camera with flash, Bluetooth, Stereo speakers and a memory card slot.
- E720: A flip phone with dual displays and an internal antenna. Similar in design to E715 but with external buttons to control audio playback. Also features a 1 MP camera with flash, Bluetooth and 88 MB of memory
- E350: A small slider style phone with a unique keypad design. Features a VGA camera with flash.
- X640: Single display clamshell phone with VGA camera and speakerphone.
- i270: A clamshell style Microsoft Smartphone with dual displays running 2003 SE. Features a 1 MP camera with flash, Bluetooth, Stereo speakers and 32 MB RAM.
- E730: Similar in features to the E720, but with a slightly rounder design. Also adds an FM radio.
- E340: A small clamshell with dual displays and a unique VGA camera that rotates but it embedded in the lid instead of the hinge. Also features Bluetooth and an mp3 player.
- X480: Simple clamshell style phone with no camera or external display.
