Google Drive Adds Mobile Spreadsheet Editing to Android App

Google today updated the Google Drive application for Android devices. The chief new feature of the updated application is the ability for Android devices to create, edit, and otherwise manipulate speadsheets. According to Google, Android users can also switch fonts, sort data, and resize columns in spreadsheets. Beyond the improved interatcivity with spreadsheets, the new version of Google Drive for Android also improves the ability to copy-and-paste documents, improves document formatting, and adds the ability to edit tables within documents. The new version of Google Drive is a free download from the Google Play Store.
