Qualcomm Improves Integrated GPS

Updated Qualcomm today announced they have improved the assisted GPS (aGPS) technology in their chipsets to be more accurate, and making the technology easier for developers to take advantage of. The new gpsOne software will allow developers to more easily create location based services, including, Qualcomm points out, the ability to use a phone's GPS radio for in-car navigation. Qualcomm includes gpsOne aGPS location technology in all of their phone chipsets.
