Motorola To Join Kids' Phone Club

Motorola CEO Ed Zander yesterday revealed the company is working on mobile phone for kids. The handset sounds more advanced than other many other kid-friendly phones. Like current offerings, the phone will feature location tracking and parental controls. However the parental controls will also apply to content, implying that the phone will be capable of more than just calling a limited set of phone numbers. Motorola is also working on DRM for the phone, to prevent kids from sharing content they were allowed to download.
