Apple to Deliver iOS 8 September 17

Apple today said iOS 8 will be available to existing iOS devices beginning September 17. It is compatible with the iPhone 5s, 5c, and 4s; the iPad 2, iPad with Retina Display, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad Mini with Retina Display; and the iPod 5th generation.

kudos

although i'm not Apple fan, they always get my kudos for this particular reason, I don't think any other company support their old devices with new software releases like Apple.

My kudos to them.....
For iOS devices, yes you are correct, they do provide at least two years worth of updates, which is more than you usually get from Android OEM's.

For Mac OS X however they tend to cut off support very quickly. OS X Lion came out in 2012 and I beli...
