Twitter today outlined several steps it is taking to improve how it handles abusive content. Users can now more easily flag abusive tweets and accounts. This applied to both those receiving the abuse and those observing it. At the same time, Twitter said it will respond to abusive situations faster thanks to new behind-the-scenes tools. The company is also making it easier to block accounts and manage those blocked accounts through a new dashboard available in the settings tools on Twitter.com. These new features are rolling out to select users slowly and will expand to all users over time.
