Twitter Debuts Block List Sharing
Jun 10, 2015, 12:26 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Twitter today added a tool that will dramatically improve users' ability to protect their experience on the social network. People can now share block lists. On Twitter.com, users can export the list of people they've blocked and then share that list with other users who can block those same accounts all at the same time. Twitter's mute and block tools help people manage who can reach them via Twitter, but Twitter understands that some people, such as celebrities, receive a high volume of unwanted interactions that require better tools. The company sees this as an opportunity for the community to work together to improve Twitter. Sharing block lists must be done via Twitter's web site.
