LG Tuesday announced it will begin shipping a GSM version of the Choco phone, which has been making waves in Korea. The phone will go on sale in Europe on May 3. This officially confirms the rumors Phone Scoop heard at CES in January. LG said it will launch the phone as early as possible before competitors have a chance to copy the design. Samsung last week announced a similarly designed and specced phone for Europe as well, the E900.

Waves in Korea?

It has certainly sold more than Samsung would have liked, but as far as changing the landscape as the RAZR has in North America..no.

Its it that BAD

I dont think the phone looks that bad. with the touch sensitive key. Its makes the phone look like it got no key pads on the outside. Makes me thing of the Ipod. Plan and simple. MP3 and 512 on board memory, not bad at all. The phone is slim like the Moto V3. And not as wide.

WTF?

What is a Choco Phone. I tried to find an image of it but it is nowhere to be found! ☹️
I had to check the article to make sure that it wasn't a phone made out of chocolate. I'm sure that stranger things have happened.
...
It's not really a technology phone, but a very slim slider with touch sensitive controls.
