Skype Experiencing Trouble, Fix In the Works

Skype said people may have problems using its calling and messaging service today. Skype detailed some of the issues in a blog post. It says people signed into Skype cannot change their status and contacts will appear offline even if they are signed in. This is preventing people from initiating Skype calls. Skype said some group chat messages are not being delivered, but most people should be able to send messages to individuals. Users who've not signed in today may not be able to, and some Skype web sites may not load properly. Skype said it is working to resolve the problems and should have an update soon.
