LG Teaser Suggests Funky Display On Next Phone

LG has published a teaser video on YouTube showing off a brief silhouette of the phone it plans to announce on Oct. 1 in New York. The teaser clearly shows an unconventionally-shapped display with an extra section at the top. Based on the video, it is possible LG will let users take advantage of the extra screen real estate for notifications or other content. The idea evokes that of the Samsung Galaxy Continuum, which had a secondary ticker display below the main screen. LG didn't provide any specific details about the new handset.
