Yahoo today revealed a fully redesigned Yahoo Messenger that makes it easier for people to share across the web. Messenger pulls features from Yahoo's product portfolio, including Flickr and Tumblr. Yahoo says Messenger users can share hundreds of photos at a time to individuals or groups, who will be able to download them in the original resolution if they wish. Messenger adds Snapchat-like powers, allowing people to unsend any message, photo, video, or GIF even from group conversations. On the flip side, users will be able to "like" individual messages and their content. Messenger gains support for GIFs, too, which can be pulled from Tumblr's growing catalog of animated moments. Last, Messenger adds support for Yahoo Smart Contacts. Powered by Xobni, smart contacts is able to understand the relationship between people in order to improve group messaging. The new Yahoo Messenger for Android, iOS, and the web is available now.
