Cingular today announced it would add the Pantech C300 to its GoPhone pre-paid lineup. The C300 is a tiny, light, clamshell style phone with dual color displays and a VGA camera. Though it is slightly thicker than the RAZR, it is the smallest cameraphone in the US. Cingular also announced that it has added the option for subscribers of GoPhone's monthly prepaid plans, Pick Your Plan, to subscribe to MEdia Net data plans. Updated Previously all prepaid users could only pay by the kilobyte to get online.
PrePaid Media Net Not New
Media Net packages have been available for GoPhone Pick Your Plan for around a month now. Pay As You Go is still charged the per kilo rate.

hmm
"Previously Cingular did not allow GoPhone users the option to get online using their phone." This isn't entirely true. You can use your GoPhone to access the internet, you just have to pay per kilobyte used.
